Archaeological artefacts from Sanlucar

Post by Ian »

Today I was contacted by Takuya Nagaoka, Ph.D. Executive Director, NGO Pasifika Renaissance Honorary Research Fellow, University of Auckland after him and his team discovered a bottle (possibly dating back to the late 1800's or early 1900's on the Island of Pohnpei in Micronesia) and which originated from Sanlucar de Barrameda.

I attach pictures of the bottle and markings for your information.

I have now got friends at Barbadillo and contacts with the Cadiz Archaeological Museum assisting him with his work.

Its a small world, but extremely wonderful.

Ian
