Applying for residency

Post by thejeffreysclan »

Hi again

Wanted to ask if anyone had applied for residency at the national police station here in Sanlucar?

Same question about getting our names on the padron at the town hall

I am getting conflicting instructions how and where to get my family registered for a resident card

Any advice would be much appreciated

Hi Dave

Thanks for the questions on the forum

You apply for the resident certificate not a card for EU residents, at the NATIONAL 'foreigners' police station in Jerez, Sanlucar do not deal with this. They will tell you what your wife will require if not currently an EU national.

The form I believe is EX18 for current EU nationals:
http://extranjeros.empleo.gob.es/es/Mod ... icitudes2/

You will need various photocopies and official documentation which only they can tell you want you need, as they can and will change their requirements at any moment.

You will also need an appointment but I can't see how you make one online, so you may be best calling them:
https://www.policia.es/documentacion/of ... lucia.html

Search for Jerez on the above website.

For padron this is completed at the town hall offices in Barrio Alto costs a few Euros. You will require a copy of your accommodation contract, plus probably copy of passports amongst one or two other possibilities...!!

Be prepared to go forwards and backwards...!!!
