For those of you who have a Spanish mobile phone (sim card) that is a PAY AS YOU GO, you need to make sure you register it with the company your purchased it from.

As from November 2009, all non registered Spanish mobiles will be disconnected from the network. This is following legislation from the government in order to trace who is making phone calls after they discovered the Madrid bombs where set off via PAY AS YOU GO mobile numbers. You will need you passport/NIE etc in order to register the phone under your name.

Please register your Spanish mobile sim card telephone as soon as possible.
