My great-grandfather was born in Sanlucar and I am wondering if anyone has suggestions as to where I might begin looking for information about him and his family.

I'd contact the town hall in person, doing by email/phone I'd say will be quite difficult.

Also asking around in the town, you will be amazed how many people know each other/family etc..

Me llamo Miguel Arrizon, quisiera encontrar informacion de mis antepasados. Se que el Palacio Arizon era parte de la familia. Donde y como puedo encontrar informacion sobre el apellido Arizon o Arrizon?

The surname is not ARIZON but HARRISON, as it was the family name of the British person who lived there. And Harrison is difficult to pronounce, so the Spanish made it into Arizon.

Creo que habia un libro sobre los comerciantes de indias en sanlucar, y seguro que habla de arizon. Ian tiene razo., era el spellido harrison. El ayuntamiento poco te podra decir. la genealogia de esa epoca buscala siempre en archivos de parroquias. Por ejemplo, la parroquia de la o.(partidas bautismales, casamientos)
En sanlucar hay descendientes.
